A Concert Tribute to the Centre Iannis Xenakis’s President (From 2009-2020)

This tribute to Paul Méfano will feature several works spanning his rich career, including electroacoustic and mixed pieces. Free admission is subject to availability. Reservation is required on the site. Guests will be invited to an informal reception after the concert.

About Centre Iannis Xenakis 

The association was founded in 1985 by Iannis Xenakis and Maurice Fleuret to promote the musical composition machine through drawing, developed by Iannis Xenakis in 1977, called UPIC. Since December 2010, the Iannis Xenakis Center has been housed at the University of Rouen, under the aegis of the
GRHis research laboratory (Groupe de Recherche d’Histoire), whose important archives are kept in the main premises of the University.
