Brightwork New Music is so excited to present Public Domain by the Miller II Phelps Duo, a show that was originally scheduled for Spring 2020. Alexander Elliott Miller & Ben Phelps present new works for electric guitar, percussion and electronics, exploring issues of public domain, quotation, sampling and AI-generated content. The program includes newly commissioned works by composers Hitomi Oba, Ian Dicke, Sarah Gibson and Cristina Lord in addition to Miller and Phelps’ own music.
