DESCRIPTION:EMF Institute will present a concert of tributes to Joel Chadabe at the 2022 NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival (NYCEMF) June 22 at 1pm. \n“A Musical Tribute to Joel Chadabe” will include new and recent works by composers Marc Battier\, Tom Beyer & Ben Chadabe (Joel’s son)\, Svjetlana Bukvich\, Warren Burt\, Bob Gluck\, Richard Lainhart\, Mary Simoni\, and Laetitia Sonami. The concert features the use of technologies that piqued and sustained Joel’s sonic curiosity. \nThe concert\, curated by the Directors of the EMF Institute\, recognizes this pioneering work.
