DESCRIPTION:LOXOS~ is thrilled to announce the new CALL for WORKS for MA/IN festival (2022 – South Italy).\nEnd of submission period\nSun Jun 5 at 10:59PM UTC\nResults date\nThu Jun 30 at 04PM UTC\nEntry or Course Fee\nEntry fee 25 \, free for Ukrainian applicants\nThe festival will take place between October and November 2022 in Lecce\, Matera and Potenza. \nTake a look to the past editions and videos at\nwww.mainfest.it + www.youtube.com/c/mainfestival \nAll authors and performers of any age and nationality can submit works in one of these categories: \n[A] Acousmatic ~ fixed media music. Multi-channel compositions are accepted. \n[B] Mixed Media ~ for instruments and electronics/ multimedia (fixed or live).This year the [B] category is focused on the Ensemble in residence: OERKNAL!\nIt is possible to submit works (already finished) using any combination of the following instruments:\ncello\, clarinets\, flutes\, viola/violin\, piano & keyboards (no harpsichord)\, percussion| + conductor.\nInstruments not included in the list above are available in any combination anyway. \n[C] AudioVisual ~ works with pre-prepared video and music. \n[D] LivePerformance/SoundArt ~ works that include electronics and other elements [for instance\, a piece with a new interface\, laptop\, performer and interactive live video\, real-time coding\, laptop improvisation etc]. Sound/Media Installation are allowed. \nThe selection panel consists of professional and renowned composers/artists; it will assign:\n* AWARDS of DISTINCTIONS | usually one per category | The jury reserves the right not to award all or any of prizes\, as well as to award ex-aequo prizes if it sees fit.
