DESCRIPTION:WORLD PREMIERE\nUnraveling the Linear by Svjetlana Bukvich\nfor wind quintet and electronic sound/featuring Svjetlana Bukvich live on electronics \nThe new work by Svjetlana Bukvich\, Unraveling the Linear\, was commissioned by the Sylvan Winds and receives its world premiere on this concert. Ms Bukvich says\, “Unraveling the Linear explores our relationship with time\, moment to moment perception. But it may be an illusion\, a result of complex interactions in timeless space.” \nUnraveling the Linear was commissioned by the Sylvan Winds with funding from the Individual Artist Program\, made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). \nPresented by the Sylvan Winds as part of Plugged In—a program of contemporary works for winds and electronics\, including works by A.
