DESCRIPTION:  \nThe University of Oregon School of Music and Dance is seeking highly qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor of Music Technology position with a concentration in Digital Game and Data-related Music and Sound that begins September 16\, 2024.  \nThe position comprises creative and scholarly research as well as teaching duties. Teaching responsibilities will center on courses in data sonification and digital game music and sound and will likely include other courses in the current music technology curricula such as Computer Music Composition\, Studies in Digital Audio Workstations\, Interactive Media Performance\, SensorMusik\, Musical Performance Networks\, History of Electroacoustic Music\, Elements of Electronic Music\, and Performance with Data-driven Instruments.
