EMF Institute’s mission is to provide an environment where information relating to electronic media arts, artists, and their technology is available to everyone. To this end, we plan to promote events and music and offer young composers the opportunities for concert performance.

Our long-term goals is to document the stories, reports, sounds, images, and media that were created by the composers, entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers, in short, everyone who was in any way involved in the development of electronic music. An ambitious goal and one which we hope will bring together access to a host of other archives from every corner of the world.
